Outplacement services

Employees who have been laid off have a statutory right to receive outplacement coaching that supports re-employment. This obligation applies to companies with more than 30 employees.

SunUra’s outplacement coaching is a comprehensive program that focuses not only on job search skills but also on personal readiness—motivating and supporting individuals through times of transition. As part of the outplacement process, we also offer transformational coaching, which is a solution-focused mental coaching approach aimed at easing and accelerating the change process.

What do the coaching programs include?

Outplacement Coaching

The content of the coaching is always tailored to individual needs. It can be delivered as one-on-one coaching, group coaching, or a combination of both. Participants receive access to extensive training materials related to job searching.

Group coaching provides participants with the opportunity for peer support and discussion with others in similar situations. Topics may include creating or updating a CV, writing job applications, job search channels, and the hidden job market. Group coaching offers a solid foundation for more personalized one-on-one sessions.

Individual coaching is a personal and tailored process where content is customized to suit each employee’s situation. The goal is to provide holistic support for progressing toward employment, studies, rehabilitation, or entrepreneurship. We take into account individual needs and goals to ensure the participant receives support that best fits their circumstances.

Transformational Coaching

As a complement to outplacement coaching, we also offer transformational coaching—a solution-focused mental coaching service designed to ease and accelerate the change process.

This coaching can act either as a supplement to the outplacement support or as an independent service. It helps individuals understand and navigate the different stages of change and supports them throughout the process. It encourages forward movement—especially when someone feels stuck or “has the handbrake on”—and enhances the achievement of goals and results.

Our approach is practical and experiential. We use a variety of methods, including action-based techniques, reflective discussions, visualization exercises, and body-mind relaxation techniques. The coaching model is rooted in solution-focused methods, positive psychology, and cognitive behavioral science.

Transformational coaching can be delivered as either group or individual sessions. Group formats include workshops and webinars (live or online). The best results in outplacement situations are achieved by combining both outplacement and transformational coaching.
